How to install an Involver application on Facebook

Note: Involver applications only work on Facebook fan pages, which are used to promote brands, artists, local businesses, non-profits, etc. Involver apps will not work on personal profiles (individual user accounts) or Facebook Groups, just Facebook Fan Pages. Once you have your Fan Page set up, you are ready to begin:

  • Choose an Involver application from http://involver.com/applications/ or from within the Social Apps tab of your AMP account. Involver applications fall into three basic categories: Basic, Business, and Enterprise.  You are allowed to choose and install two free applications from a gallery of five under the Basic Plan. These are limited in functionality but a great way to begin. To use the full-featured versions of our apps, install more than two, or have access to any of our higher-tier applications, you need to sign up for a Business or Enterprise account.  Please visit http://www.involver.com/contact/ for more information, or call us at 877-309-8293.
  • After choosing an application, click the Install button. Choose your target page from the dropdown list.  It’s possible you may get an error message when trying to install the application. If that happens, check Troubleshooting and FAQ. If you can't find a solution to your problem there, visit http://support.involver.com/home.
  • Please add your contact info to the Account Sign-up section. Edit the application settings and click the Save Changes button. Read the on-screen tutorial then click Continue to Fan Page.
  • To show your application on your Fan page, click Edit Page then select Apps from the list that appears to the left. Click on Edit Settings under the app you want to show and select Add. 
  • You should now see your new Involver application in the left hand column of you fan page. If not, click More at the bottom of that list. You can drag it higher up the list by clicking Edit.
  • To change your application settings at any time, click the orange Edit Tab Settings button at the top of your tab.
